Casual Friends? || Sam, Anyone

Michael nodded. "Ok but let me guess, u met a girl, Sam. I'm just guessing." he said Sam chuckled. "U nailed it, buddy. I'll fill u in on the details when I reach your place." he said. Michael nodded. "Sounds good, Sam, see u soon." he said.

Kaitlin decided that a shower would do her good and so she headed for he'd bedroom to find something casual and comfy for the night.

Sam was on his way to Michael's loft when he pulled his phone out and called Kaitlin. He just couldn't help himself, he had to call her. "Hey Kate, I know it's late and all but I just can't stop thinking about u. U are beautiful, u know that? Anyway, call me when u get this or when u get a chance."

Kate found she'd missed a call from Sam after she'd gotten out of her shower. She smiled softly and decided to call him back.

Sam was excited when he received a call back from Kaitlin. He smiled from ear to ear. "Kate, hey thanks for calling me back. I know it's late, but I just couldn't stop thinking about u." he said.

Kate smiled softly when Sam answered her call. "No, it's no trouble. I couldn't stop thinking about you, either, Sam. I really liked spending time with you earlier."

Sam smiled and blushed a bit. He loved hearing Kaitlin's voice on the phone. He especially loved spending time with her and he hoped that would soon turn into something for the future. "If you're not doing anything say tomorrow or the next day, u wanna grab a bite to eat or something?" he asked.

Kate smiled. "I'd love to, Sam!"

Sam smiled and nodded. "Sounds good. I'll pick u up around say 6:30, 7:00?" he asked.

Kate smiled softly. "Sounds perfect. I'll be waiting."

Sam smiled and laughed a bit. "Ok. It's a date then. I also have a surprise for u but you're gonna have to wait until we see each other tomorrow." he said.

Kate smiled softly and laughed a little. "Alright, well, I'm patient, so I'll see you then!"

Sam nodded. "I can't wait, Kate. I won't keep u up any longer so I'll let u get some sleep. Good night." he said.

Kate smiled softly. "Good night, Sam."

Sam smiled softly. "Night, Kate. Sleep well." he said, before hanging up.

Kate smiled softly at that, leaving her phone on the counter for the night. She almost couldn't wait to see Sam again tomorrow.

Sam placed his phone on the bedside table and helped himself to bed. He couldn't wait to see Kaitlin the following day.

Kate went to bed, knowing she didn't have too many plans for tomorrow. She'd have to find something to do until she could see Sam again. She smiled softly again. She had really enjoyed spending time with him and she couldn't wait to do it again.

Sam arrived at Michael's loft and was super excited to see Kaitlin the next day. He lay in bed and thought so much about her. Could she be the future Mrs. Sam Axe? Only time would tell.

Kate found it pretty hard to fall asleep as she thought about Sam. She liked hanging out with him, like... a lot. She slapped a hand to her face, scolding herself for not already letting herself fall asleep. But... it was pretty hard considering he had been such the gentleman for her. She hardly had anyone ever be that way for her, and she missed it. "Alright, so... you can't wait to see him, now just accept it,"she muttered to herself, rolling over so she could stare at the ceiling. Ohhh boy, it was going to seem like forever until she could see him again, wasn't it?

Sam lay in bed and looked at his phone at the recent calls. Just seeing Kaitlin's name brought a smile to his face. "Alright Sam, hold yourself together and get some sleep. Tomorrow will be here before u know it." he said.

Kate eventually coaxed herself to sleep, waking several hours later to an insistent alarm clock. "Yeah, yeah, I got it,"she grumbled as she yawned, trying to blink sleep from her eyes as she slammed the 'off' button of the alarm to silence it for good. She stretched, knowing she didn't have morning plans and wondering if it would really hurt to just fall asleep again.

Sam had finally fallen asleep and he was relieved. He needed his sleep after all since he had a date the next day. A couple hours later, his alarm went off and he soon found himself constantly turning it off. His date wasn't until later and he really wasn't going to wake up on a Saturday morning at 6 am. "Give me a break, will ya? It's Saturday." he mumbled.

Kate yawned again before she shrugged, plopping back in to her pillows. She could get away with it. No plans, after all. Until later, of course.

A few hours had passed and Sam got out of bed and made himself a mojito. God did he love those Mojitos. "Nothing says good morning like a good tasting freaking mojito!!" he said with a smile.
